About me

Black and white portrait of a man in a shirt and tie, sitting at a table with hands clasped, wearing a watch and glasses visible on the table.

Hey, I’m Pete – the guy behind Pete Bird Photography & Framing.

I spent 22 years in the Royal Artillery, British Army, and it was during that time – travelling to some pretty unique places – that I found my love for photography. What started as a hobby quickly turned into a real passion for capturing moments that matter.

These days, I photograph everything from weddings and pets to big group military photos. I love the variety, the challenge, and the chance to create something truly personal. Every image I take is about more than just a picture – it’s about freezing a memory you’ll want to keep forever.

And it doesn’t stop at the photo. I hand-make all my frames in-house, making sure every detail is just right – because how your photo is presented matters just as much as the moment it captures.

So whether it’s a large group photo or your wedding day, your dog being their goofy self, or a proud moment with mates, I’ll make sure it’s something you’ll be proud to hang on your wall.
